Responsible Gaming

Reliable Help

Every page of this site, this one included, carries links to six independent gambling-help organisations: BeGambleAware, Gamble Aware, Gambling Therapy, G GamCare Gambling Support: Starts Here, GAM STOP and NCPG. They are the only non-commercial outbound links on the site. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on each organisation's own website. This site receives nothing when you follow one. The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout the site, including on the front page.

This site cannot help you stop gambling directly. It has no account, no form and no server-side application, so nothing published here can switch on, check or enforce any spending or time control. Nobody's age is verified here, and no gambling takes place here. No advertising or behavioural profiling network runs on these pages, so nothing on this site is targeted at someone who has shown risky behaviour.

Practical Habits

  • Decide the amount before you start. A limit chosen in advance is set while your judgement is calm, not in the middle of a session.
  • Treat that money as spent. If you expect it back, every loss feels like a debt to recover, and that pressure leads to longer sessions.
  • Never chase a loss. Earlier results do not change the odds of the next round. Raising stakes to win money back usually makes the loss bigger.
  • Keep gambling out of borrowed money. Credit and loans add repayments to the loss and can turn a bad night into lasting debt.
  • Take breaks. Time passes quickly during play. Stepping away lets you check whether you are still playing for enjoyment.

Involving Others

If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, talk to someone you trust early. Another person can spot patterns you may miss, and having that conversation sooner keeps your options wider. You can also contact one of the independent organisations linked on this page.
